Foreverism

Trendwatching.com has identified "Foreverism" as a new trend. It boils down to encompassing "the many ways that consumers and businesses are embracing conversations, relationships, and products that are never done. Driving its popularity is technology that allows them to find, follow, interact and collaborate forever with anyone & anything."

It seems to me that librarians have long been into "Foreverism" (in terms of collecting and organizing materials). The work is never done and the intent is to make things forever accessible and available.

Check out this Foreverism briefing for more info.
