This is the rug we have in the children's collection. Isn't it fun? The BSC Library collects children's books because BSC teaches a children's literature class. The children's collection is in a bright, sunny spot. Believe me ... I have seen children of all ages sprawled out here.
In our library, we focus on collecting award-winning books for children, e.g., Newbery Medal winners and nominees, Caldecott Medal winners and nominees, and Flicker Tale Children's Book Award winners and nominees. The Flicker Tale award is given by the North Dakota Library Association.
