A very interesting article. I am amazed at how much these large university libraries pay for usage fees for so little actual "usage." The idea that university presses would sue universities is also startling. Faculty are under pressure to publish, but I have had librarians say to me that they wish they would not publish with publishers of expensive journals such as Elsevier and Sage.
