250 Words or Less is designed to provide practical information and ideas to help libraries through these difficult financial times. Paul Santos, Director of Finance at ALS, created the blog.

In launching the site, ALS Executive Director, Kitty Pope said “ These tough times can either be viewed as a challenge or an opportunity. We at ALS choose to see it as our golden opportunity to show leadership and assist our libraries in a very practical way. 250 Words or Less addresses library and personal issues we all face as we learn how to survive in this brave new world.”
